Freezes on saving a crawl
Running WASP crawler for Chrome on a Mac
Scanned roughly 3000 pages and when I clicked save, the WASP window froze up for quite a long time (I'm supposing it was processing the save).
But it seemed like it was just done and finished, yet I couldn't click on anything in the window.
Would be great to have some user feedback while it's saving, even just something twirling on the screen with a note that the scan is being processed and saved.
The whole thing took about 90 seconds for me. That's quite a long time and many people might think the application had crashed.
Also, when the save was complete, it did not add the .tbwx extension and so Tableau Reader would not open the file. The mac actually thought it was a zip file (which it did manage to unzip). Once I added the .tbwx extension, it opened up fine.
This is a known issue – even if the code is there to provide user feedback (% completion of processing the data), the window doesn’t refresh correctly. We’re looking at automatically saving the results so the user won’t have to manually do a save and wait for the heavy post-processing.
